Air Conditioning / Heating and Refrigeration Technology One-Year Certificate

This program is designed to train students to meet employment requirements in the field of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. This will include the installation, repair, and maintenance of air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment. Included in this program is the study of residential and commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, gas and electric furnaces, and the design of air conditioning systems. Throughout the entire program, an emphasis is placed on current techniques used by service technicians. An emphasis is also placed on graduate students being nationally and EPA certified.
