  • EMSP 2143 W – Assessment Based Management (1,0,3).

    The capstone course of the EMSP program. summative experience covering comprehensive, assessment-based patient care management for the paramedic level.   • EMSP 1501 W – Emergency Medical Technician (5,4,4).

    Preparation for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Concurrent registration with EMSP 1160.

  • EMSP 1438 W – Introduction to Advanced Practice (4,3,3).

    Fundamental elements associated with emergency medical services to include preparatory practices, pathophysiology, medication administration, and related topics. Prerequisite: Current EMT licensure and current A.H.A.BLS Healthcare Provider certification or equivalent course completion. Fall admission concurrent registration with: EMSP 1438, 2206, 2444, 1161.   • EMSP 1356 W – Patient Assessment and Airway Management (3,2,2).

  • EMSP 1260 W – Clinical – Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) (2,0,6).

    A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Concurrent registration with EMSP 1501.
