Individual instruction in music composition. Student will work towards developing his/her own musical language/idiom, listen to/study music from the perspective of its compositional components, complete at least one full composition by the end of the semester, and preferably secure a performance of it. Weekly one-hour lessons. Minimum of one-hour of daily compositional work required. Prerequisites: MUSI 1311 & 1312.
